Prawns (Konju) Fry

This is an easy recipe for bachelors. I am not using ginger-garlic paste in this recipe. It can be made with simple easily available ingredients. This is a shallow fry recipe.



Ingredients:

Prawns: 250 g
Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
Chilly Powder: 2 tsp
Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1/2 tsp (or according to taste)
Onion: 1 no.
Coconut oil or cooking oil: 1 to 2 tbsp

Method:

1. Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, chilly powder, pepper powder and salt.
2. Heat a frying pan and pour oil into it
3. Add the prawns
4.Turn the prawns when it becomes golden brown on one side
5. Add the thinly sliced onion along with the prawns
6. Fry till the onion becomes golden brown
7. Switch off the flame and serve hot with rice.
