Cabbage Balls
This is a very tasty snack for evening tea.
Ingredients:
Cabbage (grated): 1 cup
Onion: 1 No.
Green chilly: 1 no.
Ginger grated: 1 tsp
Garlic grated: 1 tsp
Chilly powder: 2 tsp
All purpose flour or maida: 1 tbsp
Gram flour (besan): 2 tbsp
Rice flour: 2 tsp
Curry leaves (chopped): 6-8 no.s
Coriander leaves (chopped): 2 tsp
Cooking oil: 1 cup
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Cook or steam the cabbage until half cooked.
2. In a bowl mix maida, besan, rice flour, chilly powder and salt
3. Add the cabbage, chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly, curry leaves and coriander leaves to the above mixture and mix properly
4. If the mixture is too dry add few drops of water.
5. Make small balls of the mixture.
6. Heat oil in a pan and add the cabbage balls and deep fry it till it becomes golden brown in color.
7. Serve hot with sauce.
