Dinner rolls/Soft buns

This is a very easy recipe for home made dinner rolls/soft buns

Dinner rolls, Bun


Ingredients:

All purpose flour: 3 cups
Butter: 1/4 cup
Sugar: 2 tbsp
Egg: 1 no.
Yeast: 2 1/4 tsp
Milk: 1 cup
Salt: 1 tsp (if using unsalted butter)

Method:

1. Mix together warm milk, yeast and sugar. Keep it for 5 mins.
2. Mix together egg, sugar, salt, butter and flour. Knead by hand or mixer.
3. Grease a bowl with little oil and keep the dough  coated with little oil to rise for 1-2 hours by covering it with aluminium foil or kitchen towel.
4.Once the dough is doubled in size, release the air by kneading it. 
5. Make small portions of the dough and shape it into small balls.
6. Keep the dough rolls in to greased baking pan or on baking sheets
7. Cover the rolls with aluminium foil or kitchen towel and allow it to rise for 1 hour.
8. Preheat the oven at 180 deg C  and bake the rolls for 20 mins or until it becomes golden color on top.
