Chicken Fry

This is a delicious and easy chicken fry recipe which can be made at home.

Chicken Fry

Ingredients:

Chicken: 500g
Chilly powder: 2 tsp
Pepper powder: 1tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Ginger: 1/2 inch piece
Garlic: 6-8 pods
Shallot: 1-2 no. (optional)
Garam masala: 1 tsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Cooking Oil: 1-2 tbsp



Method:

1. Make a paste of all the ingredients mentioned under chicken to make masala paste.
2. Marinate the chicken pieces with the masala paste and keep it for 15 mins.
3. Heat a frying pan and pour 1-2 tbsp cooking oil and shallow fry the chicken pieces.
4. Turn the chicken pieces on all the sides for even cooking till it becomes golden brown.
5. Serve hot with rice or eat as starter.

Note: Lemon juice: 1tsp (optional) may be added for marination. I have not used it.
